Direct Capital Sponsors Granite State Baseball Dinner

PORTSMOUTH, N.H. (November 18, 2011) – Direct Capital is proud to be a sponsor of the 2011 Granite State Baseball Dinner.

The dinner is one of New Hampshire’s largest charitable events, one that brings together current and former Major League Baseball players as well as athletes from other professional sports leagues across the United States. The hundreds who gather in the Radisson Hotel Expo Center in Manchester, New Hampshire, come together for a night of good food, autographs and auctions, all for the benefit of three charities.

As a supporter of youth athletics and a frequent contributor to local charitable organizations, Direct Capital was glad to lend its sponsorship.

"This is a wonderful event that does so much good for the state of New Hampshire," said Steve Lankler, Senior Vice President at Direct Capital. "We’re thrilled to partner with the New Hampshire Fisher Cats to hit a home run for these charities."

This year’s lineup of 19 stars includes Boston Red Sox catcher Jarrod Saltalamacchia, St. Louis Cardinals pitcher Chris Carpenter and Boston Bruins legend Terry O’Reilly. All will sign autographs for eager fans at the event.

All proceeds from the dinner go to the Children's Hospital at Dartmouth, the Ted Williams Museum, and the Fisher Cats Foundation.
