Direct Capital Takes the "Chill" Out of Winter for Franchisees
PORTSMOUTH, N.H. (November 9, 2010) - Direct Capital Corp., a leading nationwide lender to
the franchise industry for more than 15 years, announced today a new franchise leasing program
aimed at helping franchisees weather the traditionally slow winter months.
The program – which features display ads inviting franchisees to "Take the Chill out of Winter" - gives quick service restaurant owners the ability to defer
monthly payments on their financing during their slowest season.
"Direct Capital has always had a commitment to help franchise owners grow and expand their concepts. With many franchisees telling us that the winter is a slower time
for them, we wanted to offer some new programs that would still allow both single and multi-unit operators to complete revenue generating projects,
while maintaining their cash flow," said Robyn Gault, VP of Strategic Accounts for Direct Capital.
Direct Capital has shown a strong funding commitment to the franchise industry in 2010 and it continues to support franchisees with creative lending solutions.
"Many businesses have season fluctuations," says Eric Renaud, Senior Vice President of Portfolio Management for Direct Capital. "The winter months are traditionally slow for many concepts, and
franchisees need solutions to help stabilize their cash flow."
The announcement comes during the 2010 Restaurant Finance & Development Conference. Held in Las Vegas, NV, the RFDC is one of the premier business-focused restaurant events of the year, and
traditionally is a forum for lenders, franchisees, and concept executives to discuss financing initiatives for the coming year.
